ACADEMY Grade 3 Belt - the lightweight children's bike for beginners

The Academy Grade 3 is a 16 inch bike specially designed for children. In cooperation with the German Institute for Orthopedics and Sport in Bielefeld, Academy has set itself the goal of producing a children's bicycle that is as light and high-quality as possible and that is optimally tailored to children. Ergonomics and weight have had a decisive influence here.

Weight is a decisive factor, especially for children who want to learn to ride a bike. The Grade 3 from Academy weighs just 5.5 kg and is one of the lightest children's bikes on the market. Due to the low weight, the Academy Grade is better in the corners and makes it easier for the little riders to accelerate and climb hills. With a light bike, the little ones don't need as much strength to get the bike moving.

The low step-through height of the frame allows the children to climb up easily. The patented Vario stem grows in height and length with you and can be infinitely adjusted so that the bike can be optimally adjusted to your sitting position. The Q-factor reflects the rider's pedaling motion. With children, it is particularly important to use a low Q-factor so that pedaling is optimally adapted to the children.
