All ACADEMY bikes are lighter than 40% of a normal child weight. 5.5 KG for the 16 inch, 7.2 KG for the 20 inch, 7.9 KG for the 24 inch and 8.6 Kg for the 26 inch are far below the usual market weights of children's and youth bikes.
Ergonomically designed: The ACADEMY frames with deep and narrow bottom brackets create a tight, child-friendly leg guidance.
Short pedal cranks and the upright sitting position make it possible to put your feet on the ground at any time. Nevertheless, they ensure an ergonomic knee position while driving.
Child-friendly, fun guaranteed: The better the weight and ergonomics of the bike are adapted to children, the greater the motivation to bike.
This results in an additional gain in movement and fun.
ACADEMY bikes are uncompromisingly thought out. They are equipped with child-friendly components for daily, urban use and yet modern and coolly designed.
The lightweight, up to 3-fold butted aluminum frames and forks and the attachments, also specially made of aluminum, guarantee extremely low weight classes for all ACADEMY models. The newly developed VEE TIRE Rail folding tire with reflective ring offers the best rolling properties with perfect grip.
